Balwaan BE-63: 63cc Earth Auger with 8-Inch & 12-Inch Planters for Digging & Plantation

The Balwaan BE-63 is a 63cc earth auger built for digging holes for plantation, fencing, and general farm work. It runs a 2-stroke petrol engine, takes interchangeable planters, and one person can operate it.

Overview of the Balwaan BE-63 Earth Auger Machine

The Balwaan BE-63 digs holes in farms, nurseries, greenhouses, and plantations. It works across soft, medium, and hard land, and runs for six to eight hours at a stretch. Farmers use our earth auger to drill for banana plantations and vegetable crops. Agricultural institutes, horticulture plantations, highway authorities and fencing contractors use it for the same reason: it takes less time and effort than digging by hand. Different planter sizes fit the same machine, so hole width changes without changing the auger.

Technical Specifications

Here are the key specifications of the Balwaan BE-63 earth auger, including its engine, power, fuel capacity and weight.

Engine and Power Details

Our BE-63 earth auger uses a single-cylinder, air-cooled 2-stroke petrol engine of 63 cc. It produces 1.7 kW, rated 3 HP, and reaches a maximum engine speed of 9000 RPM. Being a 2-stroke unit, it runs on a fuel mix of 40 ml of 2T oil per litre of petrol. The tank holds 1.3 litres, and the machine consumes about 1 litre per hour at 70 percent working capacity. The net weight of our earth auger is 9.6 kg.

If you are comparing earth augers by engine displacement, the 52cc Earth Auger is another option to consider.

Working Width and Depth Capacity

Five planter widths fit the BE-63: 4 inch, 6 inch, 8 inch, 10 inch and 12 inch, or 10 cm through 30 cm. Working depth is 3 to 4 feet. Match our planter to the job you want to get done. A narrow bit for sapling pits and post holes, a wider one for tree pits. Our planter speed runs up to 290 RPM.

If your work specifically requires a 12-inch bit, you can also compare the 63cc 12-inch Auger.

What Can You Dig With This 63cc Earth Auger?

Farmers use our 63cc earth auger for common digging jobs, including pits for banana plantations, holes for vegetable crops, and post holes for fencing. The machine also suits soil sampling work. It handles soft, medium, and hard soil, so the same unit covers a nursery bed and a boundary fence line. Digging time per hole varies with soil hardness, from 20 seconds in loose soil to about 60 seconds in hard ground.

For heavier, high-volume digging, the two-man 173cc Earth Auger can be an option to consider.

Why Choose the Balwaan Digger Hole Machine

Trusted by 10 lakh+ farmers, Balwaan Krishi backs the BE-63 earth auger with service, spares, and warranty.

• One person can run the Balwaan BE-63, so there is no second operator required.

• Fuel goes a long way at 80 to 100 pit holes per litre of petrol, and the RPM controller lets the operator ease off in hard ground instead of forcing the bit.

• We ship a 12-inch planter and a Balwaan 2T oil bottle free with the machine, and it carries a one-year warranty.

All accessories and spare parts are available across the Balwaan Krishi range, with a spares catalogue covering brush cutters, sprayers, power weeders, water pumps, chainsaws and other machine categories.

Buyers moving between sites often can look at the 63cc Trolley Auger, which carries the same engine on a wheeled frame.
